I thought we were in a slightly false position, could accept a bit of regression. But the lack of apparent effort and heart lately is shocking. Lincoln much better, but first goal=no marking in middle of goal, 2nd goal= Leigh bottling a header and 3rd goal is no marking again. Probably would have lost but if you don't do the basics then you are always going to lose. All good pros farmed out in favour of timid loanees? Feels like our heart and desire went with them...

Interesting to see how fronts up to this one in the post match interview because this performance ranks as bad any anything I can remember and I include games under the likes of Bowyer, Hopkin etc. it's as clueless as it gets, I feel a little bit for the players because having no tactics whatsoever is hanging the players out to dry. A lack of tactics that has seen us not able to create one chance.or even half chance all game, the only chance for Humphrys was from a Lincoln balls up. This season is in serious danger of utterly falling apart if it wasn't already, the clubs approach to January when in a good position has been a disaster. A team in fourth position in any league should at least be competitive even in defeat, as @Offcomedun alluded to, this team right now would struggle to win games at league two level.

 

So are we still going with the false narrative that our defence is good now teams have finally started to become more clinical against us? It’s never been good, poor distribution, meaning the ball comes back and slow.

 

This is utter garbage and thank God we already have the points, cos if we did not we'd be dead certs for the drop. Graham what are you doing ??

Saturday has become a really huge game, Doncaster are hitting some form with 5 points in the last 3 games which should have been 7 and they are winning 3-0 tonight. Purely for the feeling around the club and to get some confidence back it really does feel like a must win game.

Nightmare of a night with a poor performance added to that the only team in and around the automatic/play off race not to win was Luton and they lost to Huddersfield. The big gap we had to 7th is suddenly down to 4 points.

 

That was an embarrassment, like most of games in January to be fair. I know we don't offer much bar pressing the opposition (something which has disappeared) but Christ not a decent effort on goal for yet another game is a real kick in the teeth to the fans who follow this club.

 

Doing something else Saturday... Yep me my group having the same conversation.

 

Play offs are a pipe dream without big investment. Donny will beat us on Saturday. McCalls 2017/18 season revisited.

 

I can accept defeat to good teams like Cardiff if we put a shift in and show a bit of passion and have a go, but the last 2 performances have been an absolute disgrace.

This squad has suddenly become a joke to watch. How can they go from what we saw Aug-Oct... to this? Cant even pass the ball 2 or 3 times. Cant mark any runner. Cant hold a shape for 5 minutes. Cant make a channel run. Cant play anything on the deck that isn't a backward or sideways ball.

I cant imagine how this is acceptable for any manager to witness? And its been dreadful for some time now and it feels they are all running on empty.
