I did wonder after GA's post match interview on Saturday. His language and tone was very, very different to usual (even after other defeats like Mansfield) and he sounded tetchy and argumentative. The lack of a 'sensible' response regarding incoming transfers and his comment regarding being "ahead of schedule" and that we'd scored more goals this half of the season in comparison to last season just confused me.

My immediate thoughts were that Sparks had had a word and said we are happy to consolidate this season, we are ahead of where we thought we'd be so we're gonna keep our cash for the summer!! In effect not backing his manager this window.

I have no idea but I certainly wasn't inspired.

 

Got enough points on the board to stay in the league Mr rupp and Mr sparks will be happy that's all they care about... Job is done as far as their concerned
