Bubble has totally burst and we have lost our way. None of the things that got us early season wins are now happening. Other teams have worked us out and we appear to have no answer.

The plain fact is that most of our players are individually not good enough. Most are technically poor compared to other sides. What little creativity we had is now either injured or off form, or both. It’s a mystery to me how GA thinks we can create or score goals with this personnel, formation and tactics. I’m struggling to identify what our current tactics actually are intended to be.
TBH I think we would struggle to win L2 games at the moment.

 

And that folks, is the end of that. It’s been fun while it lasted at the top. A bit like a suprise country leading the Eurovision voting for the first half of the show. We’ll fade into mid table obscurity and everyone will forget we were top of the table and unbeaten. What a chance for Rupp to show he’s interested in progression. Chance missed. Wouldn’t be surprised if GA walks at the end of the season.

I genuinely think we will end up with just 60 points this season. Another 14 from the last 19 games.

 

I worry that somethings happened behind the scenes. Not just the departures, but the fight in the team has gone. We seem to have cut the squad back, not invested in it, this January.
