Wright is slower, Tilt just runs like the Tin-Man in the wizard of oz. In my view it should be one or the other. Neither really have the legs to push the line or close gaps, especially if either find themselves a touch wider and the wing back has committed forward. Definitely one for the summer to find some pace in that backline for next season.

Weird that this Wheatley one has dragged on so much, I wonder if the ankle hasn't recovered well enough? Even if he was injured, deals can still be done. Lewis Richards still isnt fit enough to make his Crawley debut, but he passed a medical.

Have we moved on from Hindolo Mustapha? Sounded like Palace held off on the loan earlier in the window. He played up front in a front 3 yesterday for Palace U21s in the PL2 and scored.

I suppose if he’s going to be injured longer than expected,City might be holding off getting him on loan and switching targets.

Wow, you not watched is for a while then?

We have a winger masquerading as a 9 and a forward who's best facet of his is pressing.

If we dont want to be utterly pathetic and wave a white flag (which flogging off lads who would still have done a job, saved their wages and bought in 3 loans and no permanent signings), then they need to pull their fecking fingers out.

Embarrassing so far with Rupp also appearing to be back to his big words and small deeds approach.

I was there for his one and only goal,a thumping header against Oldham in the EFL trophy. It was a consolation goal in a 4-1 defeat but never has a player been more delighted to score.

We've seen some perhaps comical platforming of that man united kid as to why he would be good for city....same lad now going to league 2....

That's our transfer window ambition laid bare.

Not good enough by a long chalk and some are placating it.

I really hope GA, Sharpe and Gent have some genuinely top quality signings lined up.

I know January is a difficult window, prices are inflated and options are limited but I’d still like to see us show a bit of ambition. Sibley looks fine, Ashby looks a good addition, but I’m not entirely convinced by White so far.

Rupp has said he has the funds to get us to the Championship and given our current league position this feels like the perfect moment to invest and strengthen. We’re in a strong spot and shouldn’t be afraid to push on.

We’ve let a few senior players go and although ideally, you’d keep that experience around to avoid disrupting the group, but I also think we’ve treated them fairly and done right by them in terms of their careers.

Financially, things look encouraging. We’ve had the second or third highest gates in League One this season, we’ve received fees for players, even if they weren’t huge and we’ve freed up wages. In cases like Byrne and Cook we may still be covering part of their salaries, but overall the outgoings have definitely reduced.

As for the reported £500k for Ward, Reading, who are supposedly in all sorts of trouble, have taken that gamble. In my opinion, we should be prepared to do the same. The teams that go up are usually the ones willing to put serious money on the table and back themselves to get the job done.

This is a real opportunity. Show some ambition, Rupp.

I think it's standard for Alexander to not do a press conference before a Tuesday game, I can't find any pre match interviews before any of the 3 Tuesday league games this season.

I have had a bit of a think about club finances
We have 2000more season ticket holders apparently and paying around £40 more on average
Roughly £650k more in season ticket income
Crowds are averaging just under 21000
5000 pay on the day, say£15 each for 13 home games played , that’s £975k. The cup run probably raised another £300k
That is over £1.7 million extra revenue before we factor in transfer fees received, increased commercial and match day merchandise etc
All this before Mr Rupp and his supposed backing
The transfer window is set in stone, yet it currently appears that we were not prepared for it
Players have left, that were integral to the clubs advancement and even if they were not currently playing were part of that tight knit bond in the squad
The replacements that have come in could prove to be good in time, but they are not our players and might never be, perform well and we more than likely will be outbid for their services come the summer.
There are 6 days left in the window, for the club to bring in more players, or for more to leave, twice as many out as currently in
The fans have backed and believed
I am not sure if the owner has
