Just feels like something else needs to be given a go soon? If we drop out the top 6 after being there all season long and dont try anything other than sticking to the back 5 and Humps as a 9, then GA deserves a lot of stick for his stubbornness.

 

Wait what ? The ref ? Oh give over Greame.. the ref was ok.. why dont you just admit we were played off the park by a team that was more up for it than our little chucks….abd You couldnt motivate them for this game.

 

We need to reboot the attacking intensity.. we gave a poor side far to much room and attacked them at a snails pace.

Would you have half that Huddersfield team though?.. let's be honest, they were poor, we were worse, hardly a player on that pitch today was worth a wage. It was an awful game for the few that watch it on sky tv. The Cardiff game was much better for the casual observer.

 

You'd better get used to it. That'll be the narrative come April when we've floated into 11th position.

Play-offs is still possible though. I can't see us ending up above the top two or Town, Bolton or Stockport. However, GA's impressive management and greater experience might mean we shut out Luton.

However, I've always thought we would fail. Or maybe it's because I've been stupid to book a holiday in mid-May!!

he got criticized against Cardiff for his first half lack less first half performance
his hamstring was playing up,so he was taken of, we sure missed him today though.

 

He's blaming the ref? Please God, no. It's like Hughes all over again. Red flag stuff for me.

 

I was surprised how much they retreated when we went to ten men - given their ability on the ball. I think we generally have the characters, but they have the better skilled players.

 

We need to win 10 more games to assure play offs. It's 50/50 for me at the moment.

He wasn't "blaming the ref" he was pointing out an incident where the ref apologised for a decision and when he did talk about him - he then straight away said it didn't excuse our performance.

I always recommend listening to the full interviews, particularly after a loss.

 

Nothing to do with cup finals yet again we didnt turn up in the first half yet again and thats gone on for months ..............had we created a couple of decent chances in the 2nd half it would have been the normal City performances we have seen for months now

 

Fight and desire have got us this far but only get you so far. Need guile and skill to go with it, today showed our limitations with both. Alexander has built this whole teams success on pressing for as much as the 90 minutes as they can. It's been non existent especially in first halves of games recently, game like Bolton away, Cardiff last week and today agaisnt Town, decent teams have another couple of gears to go through we simply don't have when we have the ball

 

I usually think GA is clear and objective in his post match apraisals , but blaming the ref in this instance is criminal

 

I think some forget that our great early season play coincide with that red-hot Swan spelll.

I'd like to see a 3/5/2 with him and Humphreys up front.

 

Where is the quality in the current squad? Struggling.....

 

We dont bring any quality now then you can view what the owners mentality is

 

Amazing? Its L1 ffs....those years of mediocrity in L2 really were accepted by our fanbase which is why we were shit for years.

 

Just alluded to this in my last post Gaz, to often recently we've needed to make half time changes in games and that's simply not acceptable.
