Tbf who says it's not Alexander Sparks or even Sharpe saying that they think the squad is good enough for now and that Rupp was willing to spend. What happens behind the scenes fans don't always know.

 

Reality is we are 3rd - so clearly the squad is good enough for a promotion challenge and with a few tweaks and additions to keep that going.

No point signing players for inflated fees just because they are available. We will be stuck with them next season. Id wager thats why we are in the loan market.

If we miss out this season you would expect some sound investment in the summer to get us over the line in May 2027.

I’m thinking Sparks and Sharpe are seeing how we fare over this tricky run. If we don’t drop points, then the squad is good enough as it is. I think it’s more simple than that. We have identified who we want to sign and are waiting for them to be released either because their teams have injuries or are waiting for replacements or are negotiating over transfer fees. Not easy but it happens every window

Got to be honest, he's appalling technically and doesn't always look the most interested.

Fletcher was born but not raised in these parts. Family moved to Bolton and he was a Bolton fan growing up. Dont think he really has any ties to City it seems.

The Burnley lad has been playing out wide rather than up front, sounds that way from Plymouth and Millwall fans. And he sounds absolutely dreadful! Cant imagine it effects Fletchers availability too much.

 

The idiot that said Windass was a done deal in the summer says he's coming to us so I wouldn't get your hopes up.
