Sounds like Bolton have beaten Plymouth in the race for Ryan Hardie on loan from Wrexham. Lincoln have also brought in forward Alfie Lloyd on loan from QPR. Stockport are continuing to try and bring in striker Adama Sidibeh this month from St Johnstone, their journo made out that Sidibeh would be joining in the summer when his contract is up, but Stockport want him early and are willing to pay.

Seems like forwards are on the move this week to the other chasers. Hopefully ours isnt a million miles behind.

EDIT: Not a forward but an attacking mid, Luton are signing Kasey Palmer from Hull. Palmer has been at the CH for a majority of his career, has had struggles with injuries but is a very talented attacking midfielder.

 

And he's out of contract in the summer. Accy will want a bidding war, which is why I suspect Pete O'Rourke and Alan Nixon have been briefed so much about it. I bet he'll go for a fraction of that 500k by the end of the window.

I wonder if we'll have more luck in the loan market for a striker? Someone with something to prove that we could convince to stay next season if they do well?

 

Wheatley looks tall and quick and looks the part against weak opposition. It looks like he has signed so let’s see how he does. In the Summer GA said established strikers cost to much and he wants goals spread around and I expect that’s how it will stay

 

And a big worry if he's another player struggling with fitness - if we are looking at someone just for the next 4 months we need them to be fit and hitting the ground running

It will be. Alexander's comments in the press over the last few days pretty much saying he doesn't want too many players for a position where only one plays at a time. Pretty obvious what he means I think.

That's without him apparently being able to run, press, hold the ball up, bring others into play or cover the yards to be effective in the system.
