On paper I agree with you for sure .

 

We certainly put in a shift,and in the 2nd half had much more of the ball, but apart from the awful miss and a cracking strike we didn't create a great deal tbh. I agree the the 3 new lads look impressive and will improve with more gametime. I do think there's lots to be positive about and I know we haven't finished this window, so looking g forward to seeing who we get in.

 

I know GA insists that he is but he isn't. Hopefully we'll get someone in who is next week.

 

They looked average at best when May equalized I thought they might have gone on and won the game but Burton stepped up and scored twice once again without Webster.

 

I thought the same. He did ok but I did see him hold back on a couple of tackles that I think he would normally have gone for. Fair enough I think because we definitely need our captain next week!!

 

I'm not sure if he's an option to play wider. He seemed to roam around the front area in the clips I've seen. But that's also why bringing him in feels a bit odd because we need an experienced option not a young lad

 

We don't really create much. We average 3 shots on goal a game.

 

Agree and hopefully who we bring in will determine our ambition.

 

He was subbed at half time, that tells you everything.

 

Because he took two very heavy tackles. He was much better than Pointon

Heard today that GA has been handed a sizeable warchest, so heres hoping that an experienced striker is top of the wanted list.

 

Pointon was equally as poor as Wright today, but has provided far more than him over this and last season
Also just come back from injury, so the foot injury could still be playing a part
T Wright just isn’t up to this level

Agree there is a lot to be positive about ,am disappointed to drop points however I genuinely think we were worth a point for our 2nd half performance
The 3 new guys give me hope for the rest of the season contrary to a few comments on her I thought Sibley played well mind you anything is an improvement on having 10 men on the pitch
All hangs now on us bringing in a striker, you can sling as many quality balls into the box as you want but without a proven goalscorer they are pointless
L1 with the exception of Cardiff (who could still hit a sticky patch) is weak and the opportunity presented to us is massive
would be such a shame if the club don't go all out to bring in the missing piece of the jig saw

 

I believe that is true,but personally I don't think it's a good idea.

I think Ant and Dec really lifted us when they came on, no problem with them starting next week ...!!

 

Seems to be working fine most games.
