We are up against a good team, some on here need to stop moaning so much. We're not out of this and last 15 been a lot better. Just lacking a bit of quality, Sarce has had some opportunities but surprisingly unproductive

 

If we are having that as a penalty then Cardiff should have had one of their own for exactly the same thing earlier in the half.

 

Agree.

There's a lot of effort but that only gets you so far. There's a need for more quality or guile in the attacking areas. This is hopefully why we have released several players this week - to enable that quality to come in.

Not a lot in it but they've had extra quality at key times. We're sort of hoping we'll smuggle the ball over the line out of sheer bloody mindedness and it's not working.

 

Looked a stonewall penalty from where we sit in the Midland Road. Interested to hear from those watching on TV.

 

It's a risk Alexander seems happy to continue playing, but there are several under par performances buf faid does to Cardiff their a quality side.

Chambers can’t move out of the way as Sarcevic runs into him. I’ve seen them given but like I said just abit further up, Cardiff were denied one for exactly the same thing.

They are a very good side , noticed how they started with 5 across the back as opposed to three when we tore them one a new one at their place .

Notice the Cardiff defenders going down “injured “ in the last 5 minutes attempting to break up play and wasting time .

You won’t get anything out of this ref , I watched a game the other week and he didn’t give anything contentious same today yet fusses over trivia .

Game needs to be upped , get Hump on , to break up this defensive back five .

I agree, we’ve just been outplayed it happens. I’m much more bothered about games like Burton when we just don’t show up against crap and our press is off. These have the ability to just pass around it, the difference in passing in huge.

 

I'm not disputing theirs looked a pen but that does not make either call right, because he didn't give theirs weak refereeing if it was not a pen why did he not book Sar for cheating nailed on pen for me.

He literally ran into him. In no way was he past him. If he’s past him then the defender has had to have dragged him down and that isn’t what happened.

I’m watching online. Thought it was a penalty. Too many of City’s players anonymous in that half. Crying out for Humps in second half. Swan can’t hold ball up at moment.

 

First 12 minutes or so they couldn't get out of their half, I thought we were very poor defending both goals the second Swan was nowhere near the player allowing him to pass it back to the lad who took the corner and slide a great ball across the area.
