Also, the probable reason why Grimsby seem to be turning into our L2 squad from 2023 is that their head of recruitment is Alex Hughes, son of Mark. He was his dad's agent at the time Mark was City boss and some of his clients got deals at City whilst Hughes was here, I imagine he made a few connections at the time.

I said when we played Northampton earlier this season I wasn't impressed but someone said when he was at Walsall he caused our defence problems at Valley Parade but looking at the BBC page he was on the bench and brought on for the last 27 minutes.

 

They've been unreliable in the past and the parameters are so broad that it could be anyone.

 

We went to one of the wife's relatives 40 birthday party at Buttershaw Lane WMC and Sticks was there sat at their table (as he played cricket with him at Jer Lane Cricket Club), you could tell from how he spoke of his time at City he loved every minute and as you say he didn't want to leave, we sat talking football/Bradford City all night the wife was not impressed .
