A fair few really but it's if they are willing to drop and probably are on a good whack in the CH. Lots of pie in the skies but some names......

Tanto Olaofe, the big striker Stockport had in L2 & L1. He got a move to Charlton in the summer and it really hasn't worked. He's had 6 starts, 22 apps and 1 goal in the champ. They paid £1.5m for him in the summer and there are rumours they want another striker, so he might fall even more down the order. Charlton apparently in talks with Birmingham for Lyndon Dykes.

Langstaff as mentioned, he might be wanting out of Millwall, it's not exactly a secret that the move hasn't worked for him after a great spell in L2. Although they might be waiting for Josh Coburn to get back to fitness any time now for him to be allowed to leave.

If you want to go down the really experienced route, Tom Bradshaw at Oxford. He's 33 now and has barely had a sniff this season, but has a CV of CH and L1 goals to his name.

Might be a bit of a reach this one but Ross Stewart sounds like he is one of many players that Southampton want out this window. The big target man has struggled at Southampton for fitness and minutes and he is just coming back from a few months out with a hamstring injury. But it sounds like they are moving on from him and he did have a great L1 spell with Sunderland.

Another who is if we continue to play long ball, Sam Gallagher might be moved on from Stoke although he's probably going to go to the champ? He's 30 now and just coming back from injury but Stoke don't really use the target role from the looks of their play and he's out of contract in the summer.

Ryan Hardie was mentioned by a few in the thread but it sounds like he is Plymouth or Bolton bound. Maybe one more is Kayden Jackson, Bradford lad and struggling to get any flow at Derby. He's not really a goal scorer though.

I know nothing about the pair other than a good age , bit of experience and coming from a premiership club
Judgement reserved until ball is kicked
Good luck to the lads though, younger and probably fitter legs can only be a good thing I guess

The really annoying thing was , if we had gone up they would have reaped the rewards and they got their money back when Stuart and John Hendri left in the summer after missing out only to be replaced with inferior players

There was a book published called Bradford City the pain and glory and Tordoff explains what happened during that period ............the Keith Curle one was very interesting Tordoff was willing to pay the money but Dolan didnt think he was worth it.

That's my point, though. We were getting financially outmuscled by the likes of Mansfield before we scrapped sustainability. I bet we aren't anymore. I bet a lot of Gent's targets before the summer of 2024 went elsewhere and we were probably down to the scraps.

Signing a non goalscoring striker hasn't been a problem in the past.

Aye and Keith Curle. Both came in for talks apparently but Tordoff wasnt prepared to stretch the budget.....so the rumour has it

Very much similar to the Cook signing in that he has a phenomenal record albeit in the level below we are currently playing. Like Cook was before he signed he seems to have hit a buit of a rough patch in his career.

I'd be very happy with Langstaff, but have a feeling it will be Wheatley.

So just like the signing of Powell
We have f it up so many times with strikers over the years
Our remaining 3 aren’t exactly prolific
