I'm not sure. From what I recall Tayo started really well but then seemed to stop attacking with the same swagger and playing safer. Reminds me of someone

I don't think Palace would send him. We recruited Touray in the summer who had kept Tayo on the bench at Stockport in the first half of last season. They would not want to send him to be a back up.

He's 22 and is struggling to step above L2, I wouldn't be surprised if Palace just allow him to leave on a permanent deal really. He's so far away from being a Palace first teamer or even worth a big chunk of cash, they might as well cut their losses and see if the lad can get his career going elsewhere.

 

Not surprised, he had a bad injury, then after recovering got re-injured on his first match back. Spurs might well keep him for the season.

We look more comfortable with Touray, Tilt and Baldwin as our back three. Maybe that’s what we stick with. In which case, LWB is a slot we can upgrade and Tayo would be perfect. Just the sort we can develop. Nice lad and he loved his time here.

wright and pennington are strong rotation options and we then don’t need to rely on Byrne and Kelly.

I'd prefer that back 3, but I think his ideal back 3 is Baldwin, Wright & Tilt. For me I'd have Tilt and Wright as the central options, Touray and McIntyre as the LCB options then Baldwin and Pennington at RCB options.

One or both of Byrne and Kelly out the door and look for another LWB to come in, Tyreik isn't the option out there and Richards crumbles putting his boots on unfortunately.

 

O'Nien will get a top end Championship club no problem, Hull or Middlesbrough perhaps?

If we are to cut our losses on Richards then Tayo as a replacement wouldnt be a bad replacement IMO. He has had 2 spells at L1 now and failed both but maybe GA could get a tune out of him - he has the tools to be a decent LWB. Id take him permament for a small fee but dont think a loan benefits us, Palace or Tayo. And only if Richards is shown the door...

 

Im one of a few that prefers Touray at LCB. Like you say, we just look better with him there. Stats favour it too...
