I did want to say 'Teams' but I'm currently sat in a Costa on mind numbing Teams call that's been running since 8:30 and I'm regretting A) not paying attention more in school and B) that some pleb ever created Microsoft Teams!

Paul Mullin has returned to Wrexham, Wigan have cancelled his loan. Hasn't been the same player since his injuries after the L2 promotion and looks like it's still maybe an issue for him with only one 90 minutes under his belt in the league for Wigan. But he still managed 3 goals in his 7 starts in L1.

I dont think i'd go there, but if Cook leave and maybe Powell/Kav too, would anyone take Mullin for 6 months?

Only as a last resort if we didn't get the goalscorer we yearn for. But really, if he's carrying and injury we may as well keep Cook, which I am no way advocating.

 

If wages are reasonable, then yeah. No doubt he's not the same player and maybe had some luck at Wrexham with the right time and right place, but I believe there are still goals in him as an option until the summer. He could score 5-10 goals that could be the difference between staying in L1 or getting promotion

Not for me, he never did it in league one before the injury, even for Wrexham and his goal record only looks good because of his prolific spells lower down when Wrexham were completely skewing the competition level with their financial power.

Over 3 seasons and 66 games he's hit just 10 goals and for whatever reason he just doesn't look the same player once he reaches this level.
