In fairness, he's one of those players looks more at home at a higher level, i.e. he's still prone to looking shaky when he's up a physical unit.

And never thought he'd be this good in L1 and had questions marks after his insane behaviour at Donny last season.

 

Kav was standard Kav.

Silbey wasn’t involved too much, looks like he’s a couple of matches away from being match fit.

Whilst I agree, I think Wright looked injured for quite a lot of the game. Even first half he kept rubbing his hamstring. He was definitely injured near the end, but as Birky said, we had used our allotted slots up.

I've defended Kav in the past on here, but sadly, the lad looks like a fish out of water at this level. Time for both parties to move on and wish him well.

Precisely. Should be nowhere near the starting XI.

We want our attackers to run at defences not into them, something Kav seems to get confused about.

Great performances from quite a few out there today: Tilt, Metcalfe, Swan especially good, but several others like Baldwin & Power and good to see Neufville looking sharper again. Sarcevic usual very good self. Great win City after the disappointing game on New Year’s Day.

Cracking win that, really, really important victory not only today with Cardiff and Lincoln winning, but so important we keep the points ticking over away from home because we won't win the majority of them - we just have to win enough of them!

Great win like a throwback to a few months ago ............happy tonight ..........a week to try and get a face or two in .........

 

That really was more like it! With Swan and Neufville we had the energy for the press and looked more like the team of early season.
Metcalf outstanding and Tilt, just wow!!!! Really concerning to see Sarc go off with his hamstring strapped -hoping that was just cramp.
As has been said, Kav was massively the weak link. Zero confidence and looks well short at this level sadly. Clear upgrade needed there.
Massive win though and sets us up for a really tough run of games. By the end of this month, I feel we'll have a much clearer idea of where we'll likely end up.
