Here at Blackpool, weather ‘feels like - 8’ Will this game go ahead. Blackpool could be a game called off with a frozen pitch.
Would this be beneficial to Blackpool with their injuries or us with the square peg tactics.

I can see the squad being the same 18 as Mansfield with 3 changes to the starting 11 with Tilt, Neufville and Sarcevic in for Byrne, Halliday and Kavanagh.
I don't think Sibley will be in the 18 as he won't have had any chance to train properly with the team but I would expect him to be in the 18 for the Rotherham game after a week of training with the team.

Not looking forward to this one at all. Blackpool were big sleepers under Bruce and been winning games since Evatt took over. The Port Vale result was just a freak.

my worry is the Alexander is very stubborn and I think, if the game goes ahead, he’ll put out another shit side to try prove he was right.

Tilt could come in for Kelly but I’d be shocked if he started McIntyre over Byrne. He might bring Neufville in for Kav and then play Wright back on the left.

either way, I think we’ll get a pasting here - and with a tricky run ahead now, we need to brace ourselves for a big wobble.

new signings would give me more optimism, however……

I've just about recovered from the horror show at Mansfield. £30 seemed steep before the match; much more so afterwards.

The entire team was awful and I think it confirmed what everyone bar GA already knew: Kelly, Byrne and J Wright as a three is a big no no. However, we're a bit knackered with current injuries and form. Tilt has to come back in to the centre, meaning J Wright moves out to RCB and Kelly stays at LCB for tomorrow. Or at least that's my guess. It's not the three that I'd pick, but I think that GA will.

I think that Sarcevic will come in for Kav and, regrettably, that will be it for changes.

I'll be heading over hoping for the best but expecting the worst. Think we might get nailed again tomorrow but let's see. If Vale can put five past them, surely we can nick a goal?

Sibley said in his interview that he hoped to play in the Mansfield game, so maybe he will be on the bench.

I thought this match may be brought up. The Cambridge postponement followed a succession of sub zero nights, the last two nights before the scheduled matchday being lows of -5°C and -3°C.

The last two nights in Blackpool have been lows of around 0°C, significantly higher than when the Cambridge match was postponed. The current temperature in Blackpool is +2°C (at 08:00).

On the weather maps the whole of the west coast looks to have a narrow band of above zero for maybe a couple of miles from the sea, so I reckon there's still hope..(If that's what we want anyway..?)

Blackpool depleted through injury and one suspension.
Out include: Hayden Coulson, Niall Ennis, Dale Taylor, Michael Ihiekwe, due to injury and captain James Husband has been suspended for three games.
It is a reasonable comparison to our injured list (Pointon, Pennington, Richards, Baldwin (?) and Powell (who?).
    Apparently No Pitch Inspection planned.

Blackpool is notoriously cold despite being by the sea. Unfortunately I can’t remember the date, but we went to the game there midway through December and the away end was open, we froze to the spot. In the end even the Blackpool club felt sorry for us, and allowed us into their end where it was a little it warmer but not much. Since then they have had their ground upgraded. It looks like they have had the ground covered up and heat lamps operated on top of the covers. So I doubt it will be off, don’t really want it to be off, let’s put that awful Mansfield disaster behind us.

0-3 win, everyone on the beers in Blackpool and a few may ride a donkey or two. Nothing to worry about

I'm not sure where he got that hope from as was impossible for him to be registered in time, to play he would have needed to be registered by midday the day before and the window didn't open until midnight on the day of the match.

2 games off in league 1 so far with Doncaster vs Luton and Rotherham vs Mansfield postponed. A great opportunity to get the gap to 8th to 11 points with Luton not playing although it does give Rotherham an extra rest ahead of next weeks match

Was thinking about getting tickets for this one
With our away from, glad I didn’t
When 1 or 2 individuals become unavailable we look very poor
I will be amazed if we don’t lose

Since I missed Chelsea cup win, the play off come back at Blackpool in 96’ is one of my favourite City games to have been at.

Not there today, but looking forward to this to hopefully put Mansfield shocker behind us.

We have had a few bone chillers at VP, Arsenal was absolutely freezing in the upper kop, it took me 3 days to thaw out. However, the worst was Walsall at home ice rain coming at us horizontally.

Baldwin is injured m8. Don't want people making it worse by sitting on him.
