Louie Barry was at Stockport last year wasn’t he. New manager in Blades from when he was loaned and its the sort of loan that’d make sense - even if his name is coincidental.

we loaned Tyreik from Villa before didn’t we? Before he was recalled and sold to Plymouth?

We also don't generally play Byrne and Kelly on the same starting X1.

Might be a chance Louie Barry doesn’t leave in January, if he does he might not even play for a bit. He had knee surgery just over a fortnight ago. Looks like he had some knee issues in Feb 2025 and it's lingered to the point where he needed to go under the knife. Picture below was posted Dec 19th. Mateus Bula Dami Mané a good old Rochdale name .

 

He was born in Portugal to parents whose origin is the old Portuguese colony of Guinea-Bissau. Hence his name. The family moved to Lancashire when he was quite young and he has been with Rochdale since the age of 9 until Wolves signed him. His accent when interviewed on MoTD is definitely not out of place in Rochdale. He has chosen to play for England even though he qualifies for Portugal and Guinea-Bissau as well.

 

at Crawley will swan played in numerous positions, even one game a full back. he played well as a winger
so why does the manager not give him a go. wide or midfield. I no he will do a good job.

Josh Stones at York, we were linked to him a few times in the past few seasons. He's linked with Barnsley and Hibs this month as well as some unnamed L1 clubs. But a clause after his 300k move from Wigan, was that they have first refusal on potential transfers.

Dunno if we are one of the clubs, but any move would be a high 6 figure fee, maybe more?

I guess we all have opinions but it differs somewhat to mine. I like the lad but he has a pretty limited skillset.

 

Reyes Cleary, the lad who scored from a planet away against us for Barnsley has had an initial offer of £1m plus a load of add ons turned down after a Blackburn approach.

No idea whether we will spend money on bringing perms in this window or not, but I'd be absolutely gobsmacked if we only see 2-3 new faces coming in, in whatever capacity that might be.

 

The amount of incomings will depends on who goes out the door

 

Don't be fooled by the premier league academy tag, most lads playing in lower league have at some time been through the premier league academy set up. He's not slow but not rapid either, can deliver a good ball but technically he's pretty ordinary. Has the utility tag after playing left midfield and wing back but for me he's either in the oppositions half or not at all.
