In terms of loans, I would like us to go after those with some sort of pedigree. A player who performed well at this level last season and hasn't made the step up this season (Jamie Donley, Josh Stokes) or a player currently performing well in League Two (Emre Tezgel).

First time loans can work but they can also be dreadful. For where we are, I think we need players who are proven in senior football.

 

Feels like the club has moved upward too quickly for some of our L2 players who came up with us. A mini rebuild is looming when the remaining lads are moved on and replaced.

 

Was hoping this new signing was a done and dusted deal and ready to join the squad from today, could have been a great boost

 

Safe to say Cook and Pattison are off. Neither on the bench again today

GA post march interview said that we were hopeful of signing a loanee today, says it will now go through tomorrow. At a guess, maybe the lad from Palace?

I suspect he's better than Wright or Kavanagh. Plus who knows how long Bobby is out for.

 

He's a player who was Palace's U21 player of the year last season and had Championship interest in the summer. He'll probably have to wait a bit for a start as he won't have full match sharpness but looks like a good back up for Pointon and Sarcevic and an option off the bench with pace.

 

Dont need players that are gonna be sat on the bench for a month before being integrated into the squad. We need players who can hit the game running. Pointon will be out for a while so our only options are Wright, Lapslie and Kav

 

By the sounds of Alexanders post match interview neither Pointon or Baldwin will be available for Blackpool, he said Baldwin feels if he plays with his injury he could make it worse so Alexander said its his call.

 

When players develop unexplained injuries in January, it generally means there’s interest from elsewhere

 

If that's the case it very worrying, Cook Pattison and Baldwin would all be names in the starting 11 when fit imo, we are going to have to bring a bit of quality if these 3 are on their way out of the club.
