It is harsh on Kelly, he's been solid, but I think Tilt is more comfortable with the ball.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Neufville start at Mansfield. We may look more for the counter-attack there.

I think he was unlucky to be dropped in all honesty. He has been double marked out of games since our one tactic of 'give it Baldwin for the diagonal' was found out which is no fault of his own. Love Halliday but Neufville will always give us more attacking threat in that position.

 

Shoo him out of the door if you think he is past it, but please afford him the decency of acknowledging he is a far greater threat than kavannagh ever will be . That's a disgraceful call

Said it many times, if we were more of a threat on the left side then teams wouldn't be able to double mark Neufville as they'd to focus on defending the left side as well as the right.

 

Sounds like Cook and Pattison are out the door

 

Be interesting to see where Cook lands. It's a big gamble because he wont be cheap and he also wont be able to play Sat/Tues most weeks. It's signing someone to be a top earner but he might only be able to manage 60/70% of the minutes at most?

I hope he gets a good move and can end his career back scoring goals before hanging it up.

 

Sounds like Baldwin might be injured in warm up and replaced by Kelly?

 

If Halliday is keeping Neufville out of the team then we need to see more from him tonight.

Can't be playing the dead bottom team and have Halliday faffing around with the ball at the side of their central midfielder and in front of their left back. He needs to be driving beyond the left back and getting into crossing and dangerous positions at the byeline. Need to see more attacking intent from him.

 

Tilt being all left foot might be an issue.
