He hasn't been in the games much from what I see.

I think he combines better with Neufville from an attacking point of view. It isnt natural for Halliday to really push on to the byline like Neufville does so often Halliday and Sarcevic are sort of in the same areas of the pitch from what I've seen and neither have the pace from the standing start Neufville has to burst on.

 

People not expecting a new manager reaction are going to be disappointed I fear ,we've all seen it time and time again.Apart from anything else the fans who were boycotting and booing the players will be getting behind them now.Hope I'm wrong.

It's on BantamsTV according to the article they put out 2 days ago. I think some have said that games haven't shown up until an hour or 2 before the game.

 

Must admit my heart sank when I heard that Moore had been sacked.

 

Maybe, but its also very recent. They may have more of a reaction by Saturday.

Realistically, they've had no training time since he left so everything will be last minute.

An early goal and putting them under pressure could see us get a good win. The longer it goes without scoring, it gives them something to fight for.

 

I'll be studying this closer to kick off to settle my nerves.

I'm working on wins needed for play offs as my gauge for the second half of the season. If we win tonight we only need 11 more.

 

Balls! Thought this game was tomorrow and I've made plans for tonight now ffs! Crimbo limbo brain in full force.

Hopefully it's a nice easy win tonight against a struggler but I hate it when we play sides this out of form.

 

I just think the Port Vale players like the fans will now be really up for this game ,unlike the game at Huddersfield where their team were abysmal. Port Vale were a decent team last season and finished 2nd so clearly something has gone wrong with Darren Moore and now that he’s left there will be a bounce back. Expect a difficult and frustrating night tonight. Hopefully we’ll still come out on top but seen too many of this type of fixture at Valley Parade to be confident.

 

I dunno what the big panic is about.
Apart from; and since the Burton game, we have been solid at home.. keep the faith.
