    Apparently City have won 18 home league games so far. If they win tonight, they will equal the current record set in 1953.
    Perhaps one or two on here can compare and contrast ;)
    Whatever the case it is something which is noteworthy and may not happen again in many years/seasons.

    So that's 23 matches with 18 wins, 3 draws and just 2 defeats. Goals for 41, goals against 14 and 57 points amassed.

    Ahead of tonight's match, it should be noted that both home defeats came against struggling teams.

    Looking at the overall numbers including away games we are on 84 points from 45 games, I can't imagine there will be many years where we have got more points than that. To think how this year started off with the draw at Barrow where we should have won and nearly lost it added to that Cook's injury, I doubt many people would have been hugely confident of automatic promotion never mind being 3rd in league 1 362 days later.
    One of the things we've improved on this season is the away form, we are only 9 points off our away total from last season. If we carry on our away PPG we will end up on 32 points. If we say play offs is 75 points that leaves us needing 17 points from the last 12 home games which is very achievable.
