    Merry Christmas bantams.

Have pondered many an hour as to that. Brilliant.
Can you do the kop midland road corner too?

Don't think they'd ever allow it. If I recall it's something to do with access to the housing behind the Bradford end.

I like that Bradford End’s future vision takes into account the “amber” seats fading. Nice one.

Just build it and put in for retrospective planning permission like loads of other stuff in Bradford. Council probably wouldn't even notice

Probably smallest actual attendance for a sell out tomorrow as there will be loads of people not there

It was a certain Graham Alexander that managed Scunthorpe that day.

I’ve got young family members coming to today’s game in two cars and want guaranteed parking not too far from the ground. What’s the deal with the car park by Estate Sawmills on Midland Road? Presumably it’s likely to get full today. Anyone know what time I’d need to get there to guarantee a couple of places?

Yes, get that. But how early? I normally rock up about five minutes before kick off so I’ve no experience to go on.

Don't even look at the sawmills, thought it was club organised annual fee anyway....
Plenty room Wigan st parking, back of the Beehive, 15 minute walk to ground....

Maybe park at Broadway and get an Uber if that’s an option? The only issue is after the game, I know it can be tricky when you have people who can’t walk far with you. I once got an Uber after the game and it was a bit tricky but it’s possible if the car parks are full up. There’s one over the road from the North Parade by the traffic lights at the end of Manningham lane, it’s a flat 10/15 minute walk and you can usually get there for just before 2 and be fine.

I now have one spare ticket for today’s game. Main Stand, upper tier, L block, row T.
It’s an over 65 but they never check, so it’ll be fine for an adult.
    Going for £15.
PM me with your email address if interested.

And not forgetting the many houses behind the Bradford End which would have to be subject to a Compulsory Purchase Order and demolished. Does anybody really believe that Bradford Council would ever do that?

I park off Sunbridge Road/City Road. I think you will need to be there before 2.00. We are looking at 1.00 and a visit to a well known local hostelry pre match..

As you know I was born behind the BE and remember they only pulled down the houses on Midland Rd ( immediately behind ) and one half of Lupton St . They left standing the upper side of Lupton and Cornwall Terrace because they had bathrooms and kitchens. To demolish today and rehouse elsewhere (in Manningham) wouldn’t be cheap . It’s probably a non starter and I doubt whether and this is probably critical , FPPF wouldn’t fund the expansion which if we don’t progress could end up being a white elephant?

Agree with that, with the new lease around the corner what the ground could look look like in the next 25 years needs to be seriously thought about. Especially how even supposed modern grounds built 20/25 years ago are now thought to be out of date with how the new digital and social media has changed in a generation. And as sport heads toward an expanding corporate sector can Valley Parade adapt and grow to meet these demands? I'm emotionally attached to the old girl but can anyone say with conviction that Valley Parade will be fit for purpose in 20 years time without work being carried out?
The 2/3rd finished main stand and original club office building has always looked naff, shame we'll never see BFGs plans fully finished off.
