    One thing I’ve noticed this season is how early they sell tickets for away games.
    I’m surprised the Exeter tickets aren’t on sale yet. That would be fun.

    I must admit I didn’t’ see what you predicted. Did you? The last match before Christmas and I thought the actual attendance looked fairly good. The club didn’t have any ‘community’ groups in the Bradford End, so I assume that will have reduced the gate a bit.

    Selling 19,123 tickets was in my view, very impressive.

    In respect of Huddersfield, then it seems to me that they are being rather churlish. They could have a condition in the Season Tickets allowing them to relocate, if a very large away following is anticipated. I have been in the South Stand on a number of occasions. Arguably easier to ‘segregate’ if supporters don’t share the same stand. The entry is still the same route whether it is half or a full stand.

    Not everyone has the time/money to get to grounds like Plymouth or Exeter, but they shouldn’t be penalised if they could attend local games, where the ground has the capacity to house them.

    I don’t think there were over 19000 in the ground yesterday.
    Agree not everyone has the time / money to attend long distance away games but then they have to accept the likelihood of getting a local derby away game is slim.
    Huddersfield don’t have the capacity without moving their ST holders. Why would they do that?
    Imagine if we moved our ST holders from MR….oh wait, we have and look what havoc and outrage it caused.
    The last time we did that for Reading cup game it became a fiasco because we had to release every seat in the stadium to make it fair for those moved.

    How many club do it though ........Blackpool after new year giving us 2k when we know there will be 5k empty seats ..............Bolton shocked me with there allocation or maybe they have folk who simply know what they are doing.

    Clearly, yesterday, there weren’t over 19,000 at Valley Parade. You never ever get 100% attendance at any match. However the numbers at the stadium looked very reasonable.
    In regard to ‘relocating’ supporters, as I clearly said, if there were a clause in the ‘terms and conditions’ of the sale of season tickets, then you know of the possibility of relocation when you purchase. That is totally different to ‘making it up’ virtually on the spur of the moment.
    Why would they move supporters, well they could probably sell the whole end and that could generate say around £40,000 just on gate receipts. The number of stewards shouldn’t really change and the approach/exit area is the same irrespective of the number who attend.

    Towns a weird one probably losing out on £200k ever season on not allowing a bigger away support get it if was full for these big games but i would guess most of the time there will be 5k empty seats .............4 games already that they could have sold more than the allocation given and thats with 6k empty seats ????????
    Must have money to burn

    We’ve sold out Leyton Orient and the ground will be half empty. Maybe we should ask them to move some fans to fit us in.

    Would have said that about 10 minutes before kick off but looked a decent sized crowd come kick off time. Probably less than that figure but only a couple of hundred off

    The Huddersfield fans seem to think it’s our cup final just because we put tickets on sale 6 weeks before the game . Source DaTM) . If there is anyone I want to turn over it’s them at their place.
    The sheer arrogance of some of their comments are breathtaking. Self entitled fools, a lot of them .

    That six week claim of theirs is bizarre. They always omit the fact that our other first five home games went on sale early too. Weird bunch.
