I did exactly this for the Newcastle game. Had my ticket already then saved a ticket for my lad who was in the category below.

Didn't work this time. I got booted out at 9.50 and told that match wasn't available. They had obviously taken the match down to load the change on the system.

 

It did work. That's how ended up with 3 extra.

The issue is this game hasn't been selected for broadcast for some reason, it's been moved due to the Police, not Sky.

Went on this morning to get some for mates.
Stuck 2 in my basket at 9:42.
Waited till 10:00 and purchased.
Easy peasy, Saint and Greavsie.

 

It works.
Has nothing to do with points.
Anyone could do it.
Only time I've had a glitch was when I got Chesterfield away tickets last season despite been 100 points below the requirement lol
