I remember when games where called of, if all was well they used to play the next night.

 

A lot of draws around League 1, the only 3 teams that are winning are Lincoln against Barnsley, Bolton against 10 man Mansfield (not Northampton) and Peterborough against Reading.

A lot of football still to be played this evening but not a bad set of results as things stand and keeps us in 2nd.

 

Northampton are playing the dogs tonight 1-1 half time.

Gutting as it’s the only game to be called off in the EFL tonight! It was a great chance for us to go top tonight too.
Who knows though maybe a blessing in disguise. Another banana skin game after limping through the last 2 banana skin games, in conditions that would’ve suited vale a lot more than us. Would have been a low quality scrappy horrible game most likely. Good chance to add to the recent run on Saturday

 

Hell we're STILL 2nd with only Stevenage having one game in hand on us......

 

Cardiff got a late winner, looks like they have recovered from their blip and could be the team that runs away with the league. Doncaster's collapse continues with now only 1 win in 12 league games since beating us. We stay above Lincoln by 1 on GD. Disastrous night for Port Vale with Plymouth, Peterborough and Exeter all winning.

 

A lack of goals is catching up with Stevenage with them only scoring 1 goal in 5 league games since playing us and only winning 1 in that time with 2 0-0s and losing 2 1-0. A tough month for them coming up with Stockport, Burton, Wimbledon and Cardiff as their next 4 games.

Its because they have pretty much zero goal threat. Missing Kemp and White tonight was always going to be tough. They had no creativity. No decent set pieces. Just a lot of hoofing and chasing. Cardiff huffed and puffed but the Stevenage keeper didnt have a lot to do. It was a low quality game but a good finish with the one bit of quality in the whole match really. If Cardiff play like that all season they won't be winning every game.

 

BONKERS!! When you consider we've played well just once (Barnsley) since that Cardiff win, just short of three months ago.
