I noticed that.. I thought for a moment that Norman Collier had become matchday announcer.

 

You didn't feel that the occasional grinding sound akin to tectonic plates moving added to the atmosphere?

Although, when the third goal went in the supporters registered a 6.1 on the Richter scale apparently.

 

No mention of Wi-Fi, one of our sponsors is BRSK surely its not a deal breaker to provide a Wi-Fi signal even the NHS provide one in hospitals for free.

It was covered in a previous meeting that it was too expensive to install around the ground. It looks like they are trying a work around by upgrading the floodlight between the TL Dallas and Midland Road stand which will include aerials from telecoms providers which will pay rent to put them on the floodlight, that will probably mean better 4G/5G signal in the area.

 

I know my fancy new watch told me to leave this environment as it was too noisy and would harm my hearing Not likely I loved it.

 

Nothing more annoying than wanting to check your bets at half-time and no bloody signal

 

Funny you should say that …my watch said my heart rate was far too high ……several times !

 

My heart rate is pretty constant, as I have a pacemaker. But I was literally shaking with nerves for a large chunk of the game, even after we were 3-0 up. And that was watching it in France on my phone via iFollow.

 

Switch to EE. I used to be with Virgin mobile, which uses the Vodafone/O2 network. Utterly useless at VP. Now I’m with EE I get an excellent 5G signal, even at peak times like HT, both at my seat and in the main stand concourse.

 

I'm on Vodafone, no issues Saturday 3/4 up the NW Corner.

 

Thankfully I don’t need a pacemaker but sure as hell shows how we get “embroiled” in a game . It’s not the first time it’s happened !

 

I'm with a company called Smarty piggy back the 3 network I don't have a problem but it tends to slow down at half time when fans jump on their phones to check other results etc but apart from that it fine, for some reason I thought the club had said they would provide wifi at Valley Parade.

 

From Novembers meeting notes it reads that not only has the WiFi plan been scrapped ( mentioned above), but also replacing the floodlight stanchion and associated antennas also appears to have gone by the wayside
