Well, they scored 6 tonight, 4 on Saturday and before that beat Huddersfield and Cardiff so it will be very long odds against us and high odds of a 3 or 4 nil or 1 at best.

 

as usual subs on to late should have followed Doncaster when they made changes.

Ok folk going on about us having a fair few league 2 players but how many clubs come up and change a full squad to suit there needs ????
Unless your a Wrexham then this was always gonna be an issue and one that may not be resolved for at least a couple of windows .............we have an amazing start but that may saso be our downfall with folk thinking that we would walk this league which was never gonna happen...............

Not really taking this game in isolation but 7/8 changes in the FA Cup, changed again for Burton, changed again tonight. I know injuries have played a part but he's insisted on Bryne getting in the side and trying to force Kelly in there too. No settled partner for Power and chopping and changing the front 3. He needs to settle the team down and give them a chance.

 

It was very worrying last season....let alone a step up a division!

I really don't think it's about forcing Kelly into the side,it's about what GA wants from his CBs. McIntyre is very comfortable on the ball, Kelly less so. McIntyre stood and watched for Donny's second goal. In that position Kelly gets his foot in.

Yh but for the third, Kelly got bullied and out done in the air when he should of won it. needs to stay on the bench

 

Even with the FA Cup it is common for a lot of changes to be made. Byrne has only played when Pennington was out with concussion and the recovery from that, Kelly came in for the Stevenage game and played very well so deseridly kept his place against Lincoln where he played well again. I'd only really compare league game to league game. Stevenage to Lincoln was 1 change (Sarcevic in for T. Wright which was Sarcevic returning from injury) Lincoln to Burton was 4 changes (Pennington back fit and in for Byrne, Leigh for Metcalfe, Sarcevic out injured for Pointon and Swan out ill for Humphrys). So in the last 3 league games we've only made 1 change due to tactics, I'd imagine if we looked back other league games the story would be similar.

Maybe he does need to be on the bench, that's GA's decision. If Richards is fit and ready then Touray goes to LCB for me. If not it's Kelly. Only my opinion of course....oh and Graham Alexanders

It's the changes match to match that stop consistency, although injuries obviously impact that.

 

Identifying the issues is the easy bit.
We can all see them.

Solving them before they become the norm is going to be a tough task.
