yes literally put his head on the line, superb attitude! It was great to see even when the game was well won the team were still displaying a fantastic fighting spirit and level of determination. Got to credit GA for instilling that expectation and the players for putting it into practice

Think GA insists on this from all of his players no matter what the competition is and the recruitment has very much taken attitude into account. The result is a strong team no matter who plays and his insistence that every game is important has fed through to us fans rewarded by gates being quadrupled for what was regarded as a Micky Mouse cup. Gates for L1 games not bad as well.

I hope we can beat Cheltenham and get a home draw for the second round as I think it would be the clearest indication yet that our fanbase has grown over the last 12 months. Usually we would get around 5k there, but I could see up to a 10k gate, which would be amazing in the early rounds of the, providing it is a good price.

You’re getting a little ahead of yourself.

    V Wycombe = 19,604
    V. Wimbledon = 19,076

    But still very healthy numbers.

It was a question more than anything but give a take 400 and a 1,000 it’s not far off ? As you say very very healthy and certainly helps Mr Rupp or indeed the Mid season window?

Just about to say that Kev, any weak areas can and should be plugged for a promotion playoff push... we must have money

League cup cash too, merchandise seems to be doing well and corprate tickets seem to sell out quickly

All part of the rise and rise of the club. The feel good factor is perhaps as great, if not more than the upward years of the Richmond era.

Centre Back. Despite having 8 its our weakest area IMO. 1 or 2 can leave for me...

Rest of pitch we look well stocked. Some may argue another CM but im happy enough there.

Apart from Wycombe (19,604) & Wimbledon (19, 076), the last seven home games have all had between 24,075 and
20,233 - not bad going Kev!

I agree with this we need to be ruthless. If we're going to be genuine contenders we need a stronger second string central defence than Kelly and Byrne, and aim for better than just 'doing a job' and giving their all.

For me though it's not about replacing the second string. It's about potentially upgrading on someone who's currently first choice which automatically makes the second string much stronger. Just like we did with Halliday.

TBF I think he meant that. We need someone who will come into that first 11 and push Tilt, Baldwin etc into the back ups which then pushes Byrne or Kelly into the stands permanently.

Byrne and Kelly are good professionals & servants, so nothing personal - just football.
