    Great find. The similarities between Leyton Orient and Bradford City are much greater than I realised and most of the challenges Leyton Orient are facing are the same ones as City.

    Anyone who is interested in how Bradford City need to operate, if we are to continue to progress, should watch this.

    I really hope at some stage that Orient can demonstrate how a Championship club can operate on a sustainable basis as they want without the need for their owner to dig into his own pocket to subsidise the club. If it can be done, there'll be plenty of other owners, including our own, wanting to learn from Orient's approach. Recent history suggests it won't be easy. No other club has been able to do it and become an established Championship club in the past 5 years or more. I don't see that changing without a fundamental change to the funding regime in the EFL and a change to the way the riches of the PL are better shared with other parts of the football pyramid.

    Sorry busy earlier . That’s one reason why I posted it in City talk , however I appreciate it could apply to any L1/2 club. The parallels are astonishing re recent and current history . I know Leyton quite well as my office and staff were based in the area . I would liken the Leyton community and fan base to mirror the City Centre/ Manningham / Heaton/ Shipley corridor to some extent . Forget owner investment for a minute , I would , on that basis easily suggest that commercial revenues and financial income through gate whilst we are doing well to be roughly double anything Orient could muster ?
    As you say operationally and succession planning, we are very very close to each other?
