Decent result.. we were too wasteful and almost all passes over hit..

We played pretty poor really missed power.. but hey 2-0 down and to get it back to 2-2 when playing poor is the sign of a good team!!

 

Neither is fishing.

 

Hump was poor and continues to be so , he thinks he has 15 minutes to play every pass and then wonders why the ball gets taken off him .

 

Mixed feelings really. On the one hand we had the chances and really should have won it so 2 points dropped but on the other hand great spirit to come back from 2-0 so a point gained from that side.

Another point on the board and it keeps the total ticking over.

byrne and wright too arent up to it. Done ok this year overall but we need better than ok. Touray needs to be LB and Tilt, Baldwin, McIntyre, Pennington and J. wright should all be starting ahead of Byrne and Kelly.

 

Decent point and fair result. I felt if we equalised we'd go on to win but just kind of cancelled each other out in the end.

 

A point away is always good, but they were there for the taking.
Not a great day at the office but onwards and upwards.

 

Strange. I felt this season, and any success we might take from it, would rely on us being solid but probably lacking in the final third. But we look the opposite- a real up top, flaky at the back.

 

Take that after being 2 down and not being at our best tonight.

Credit to the lads for not dropping their heads and fighting back.

I really like the look of Metcalfe. Very calm on the ball and barely concedes possession and has the vision to produce a good pass.

Another tasty Yorkshire derby up next in the league against Barnsley after probably a much needed enforced break.

 

Swan has done well so far this season but we look a different side with the big man on quality showing he wont be bullied and laying off a great ball for Pattison he's so aware of players around him, not sure he can do 90 but he's certainly given Alexander a nice headache with regards the striker role.

 

Don't look half the side we do without Max Power, although still spurned enough fairly easy chances to win. Without our captain in midfield the defence looks vulnerable and we struggle to get the wing backs into the game. Bobby and Wright completely anonymous and Nuefville hardly in the game. Despite his miss i thought Patto played alright and McIntyre the pick of the centre backs. In the circumstances you take a point

 

The problem at the back is we haven't been able to have a settled back 3 centre halves for one reason or another.

Up front, we have been much more settled with the trio of Pointon, Swan and Sarcevic.

Back to tonight though, I thought we really missed Max Power's influence in midfield.

 

Showed glimpses of a good player at this level and we immediately improved when he came on.

 

Their number 20 and number 11 looked like good footballers

 

A point from 2-0 down you have to accept that result but we lacked control and we were extremely dodgy in defence. 24 points from 11 games though is a great haul before our enforced break.

 

I think Cook starts against Everton U21’s. Really good to have him back.

I fancied us to get all three points tonight and to be fair we had enough GOOD chances to have done just that, but watching Rotherham a point may not be a bad result from their place, I think they will win more than they lose at the
New York Stadium.
