Agreed. For all Halidays endeavour, his final ball when in great positions with loads of time lets him down. League 2 was his ceiling.

 

He still has a role to play but his traits are more full back than wing back.

Brad when he found space would charge forward but stop and look for a pass inside or backwards as soon as someone got within 6 feet of him. Neufville looks like he will carry on that charge and fancy himself to beat his man.

 

Quite looking forward to the competition in our wing backs. Touray and Richards especially feel well matched and it will be interesting to see if the competition spurs them on or one of them on to perform. It feels like the positions where we have recruited well and definitely have options to make changes that can impact the game.

 

I think Touray looked very good in the Middlesbrough match especially defensively

Actually, where is Lapslie?

 

Personally I like how lapslie comes across in person but I don't think he is L1 level unfortunately and see why he doesn't get in the squad. I think he one of those players who is a top end L2 on his day but doesn't make the step up ( I would love to be proven wrong mind) I would suggest he will be gone in Jan if not next summer if he is still out of the picture.

 

They've aged better than your comments about Rayhaan Tulloch and Chisolm Afoka after that Newport game!

This is 100% correct. I thought it odd he was given a two and a half year deal when he joined.

He absolutely played his part from January onwards with some key contributions, but he's not a L1 player. If not gone in January he will be next summer.

 

I don't really think we need to be doing this, it seems a bit spiteful.

Its very typical of someone like you, just always have to disagree and try to create issues. But apart from Baldwins decent start to the league ( still think about lot of people are over egging the pudding because of 2 games) I stand by it. Lapslie seems to be 3rd in line but would still slide in there seamlessly. Byrne is and will still be shite, 1 decent clearance doesn't get him anywhere close to average.

 

Will the person who's editing my posts please stop. It wasn't abusive or inflammatory and you clearly didn't think so as you've not bothered to offer me a reason either.

If I'm breaking the rules somehow just delete them instead of editing them beyond all recognition.
