The big question is: how much above our season ticket sales is this, and what does that translate to as cash?

Think Cardiff should have a lot next week.
In any case, we shouldn't be too boastful at getting 24k for our cup final(tee hee)

16,100 ish season tickets from the 24,000 attendance……Then what proportion are full price, concessions or juniors. That last section is the difficult bit.

An extra 10,000 there yesterday. How much is POTD? £20 adults and £10 kids? Id say yesterday was probs around £150k?

Do the maths again… We have 16k season tickets already paid for , so you are saying the ground cap is 26,000??.
    Pay on the day £20….really?

The ticket cost is a bit more than you anticipated. Also there are around 16,000 ST’s, so about 8,000 sold for yesterdays match. If you ‘guesstimate’ 5000 adults, 1400 under 24’s, 700 under 17’s and say 900 over 64’s, it is a reasonable pitch. So in total around £176,400 or thereabouts.

I hope Herr Rupp enjoyed it yesterday, take the increased income and extrapolate to the last ten or so home games , I bet he has seen the better side of his “ increased investment” already? He should come more often!

Whilst Hudders have spent £m’ s on their two forwards , let’s say Swan alone, on a low cost basis, was an absolute bargain.

Unless anyone has any other formula, then that ratio of tickets sold seems a reasonable breakdown.
So if a gate is around 20,000 (which would be a reasonable bet) then the additional sales should be approximately £88,200.

The club have posted just shy of 21,000 sold for the Blackpool game so far. How many consecutive games has over 20k being reported …. That’s got to be another record? The revenue increase must be phenominal .

The average attendance including tomorrow for the last 9 home games, is over 21000
That's an average of approx 6000 pay on the day. you would think that is between £80 to £90 grand per game extra ticket revenue alone at say £15 per head, so at least £720,000 plus a decent cup run this season
    We must be doing ok

And not with cheap ticket prices either, a stick used to beat the club with in recent times.

I'm not gonna get carried away but if your synopsis bears fruit, out of contract or out of favour league one/championship players, who have aspirations of playing at the higher levels, would be more inclined to favour the teams vying for the top 2 spots or who are favourites for playoffs. Of course money comes into it but teams at the top will have the edge when it comes to ambitious recruits. We will have to splash big money, and Rupp will have to get used to that if he really wants to realise Championship football.

Another 21500 including 1900 from Blackpool. All impressive numbers and very good financially.

Thats around 5K POTD punters at each home game paying into the transfer kitty come January PLUS the Newcastle money! IF we are there or thereabouts come January I can see us bringing in some real talent for that push. I can see the likes of Halliday going out on loan in January.

September summary (Yes, I know there is a couple of midweek games but they can be caught up in October, don't bother with the tracking mid week - its a job for my rock and roll Saturday nights. Life with a 2 and 5 year old at home, eh?!):

Some away figures are estimates - Huddersfield on the naughty list for not announcing away followings:
    Estimates .png

City holding up well - this must be the longest international break ever, given that is the only reason we had good crowds last season. As above, must be topping up the kitty very nicely. Averaging 96 less than 21,000, plenty of match by match sales there, and at the increased prices this year we ought to be seeing a healthy balance sheet.

Can't imagine why Udders won't announce away followings?

maybe they moved the away fans after setting up the way the turnstiles count into the total and it would need reprogramming to separate the away turnstiles from some of the home ones. No point in spending money on something if it isn’t actually needed
