His two assists in the past two games shows how aware and smart a player he is. Last week I fully expected him to blast it, but instead his pass to Pointon was brilliant.

Yesterday how he sees that pass to Neufville o don’t know. At first I wondered if the intention was Metcalfe, but watching the replay no way it is.

Fully deserves the starting spot at the moment - a really great start to his City career.

 

I know we haven't had any confirmation yet regarding Baldwin but he has been by far our best centre back this season and will be a massive miss if he is out long term.

 

I think his body language yesterday was very telling.

Obviously I’m guessing but I thought he looked like he knew it was a bit more serious than normal.

Hopefully Wright is back then although if he is then we need the defender we had at the start of the season and not how he played against Wimbledon and Donny

 

I watched on Bantams TV. They had a camera shot from behind and to the right of the goal, ie almost directly in line with the shot. It certainly looked like it was missing from that angle.

 

I wouldn’t mind, it was missing and commented so by Jamie Raynor. It’s irrelevant, who cares as long as we score. Not sure where the response to you comes from lol. Neuf will still get the goal anyway, don’t think it’ll get changed with it not being such a glaring one.

 

It was funny cos i said to my lad before the replay, who was watching with me, that Neufville had found his shooting boots. Not wanting to taking anything away from the build up as it was a quality piece of play.

Absolutely and he knew it …. Their boss who struggled to give us any credit, unlike their fans, bemoaned their missed chances. On looking at the highlights we could have had half a dozen with a bit of luck.

 

I've been a bit critical of him lately but thought he was outstanding bar the miss yesterday.

 

It reminded me of the league cup games we've played where a team trying to play patiently out from the back allowed us to push the press into their half. Noticeable that for two consecutive games we've conceded quickly after Baldwin has gone off. Hopefully his injury doesn't keep him out as he's looked very good recently.

 

A tactical masterclass yesterday, with ruthless finishing and 100% from everyone on the pitch. A fantastic performance and well deserved. Some Cardiff fans are saying they played crap, well they played that way because of the way we played. That wasn't a crap performance from them, they created various chances but our players did whatever they could to block, deflect or shut down any efforts they had on our goal and in the end it took two wicked deflections to finally break down our organised defence.

Absolutely, that is the sign of a good team, at the moment we seem to have goals coming from all over the pitch, long may it continue.

 

Was reading this morning that our first half xg was 1.83. Highest for a long while. Shows excellent intent and that we were worthy of our 2 first half goals.

Well done to the coaching staff for getting the lads set up on the front foot.
