Credit to the Cardiff fans …most consider we outplayed them, outfought them and GA was tactically far superior .

Just leaving Abergavenny and absolutely over the bloody moon.

Fantastic performance throughout with Touray exceptional, Power leading like a true captain and one of Pointons best away performance.

That game was excellent from our superb support, a commanding display with pace, skill, endeavour, desire and some of the movement of the ball was outstanding.

It's absolutely ace being a City fan ATM and we thoroughly deserve to be top.

Couple of Cardiff fans on the train were very complimentary regarding our performance today. Best side this season they stated by a country mile

Thought Power was immense today, and it has been said previously He's the best Captain since Jones.
Lets hope he can surpass him aon this ever impressive journey.

I've been a massive critic of Pointon in away games and feel he goes missing for long periods sometimes away from home. but again like you thought his performance was wonderful. Especially when he ran at them with about 10 to go and only a very good save he would have notched.

Onwards and upwards, bring on the Toon on Wednesday .

He's still learning though and has now even stepped up a division. The main point I'd say is that it looks like he's listening and learning and his impact in games is improving. Hope he continues in the same ego-less way.

Great shout on the comparison with GJ. It seems obvious to me (as a leader) that leading by example, demonstrating the right traits and drive/determination rubs off on those around you and in the first 7 weeks his impact is undoubtedly assisting this squad with his communication appearing top notch.

Toon, is a free hit from my perspective but I know I will travel there with belief than just hope

I don't really enjoy reading the forums of other clubs but I have to say, the Cardiff fans seem an utterly reasonable bunch who are very fair in their assessment of the match. Worth having a read.

Sandwiched in betweem Barceloan, Bournemouth & Arsenal next weekend, there wont be a better time to play them.
None of their 'big hitters' will play. They don't have the biggest 'Premier League' squad so we'll see wholesale changes from them.

I said 3 - 1 but couldn't get on scorer correct, never mind I'll happily take the same result at St James's Park and not get a scorer correct .

Didn't pay it enough attention first time round but it's stunning. Absolute class to play it without pace. Knew defenders were going to run beyond it so no need to fizz it across, just stroked it into Neufville's path. Exceptional finesse and football iq. My favourite piece of play this season.
