Going to be a tough 15-20 minutes, they are going to throw everything at it and a big test for McIntyre. Need to be smart and manage the game well.

 

Same as last week, comfortable at 3-0, Baldwin goes off injured and they concede a goal more or less straight after.

 

It wouldn’t be half the fun if we just coasted to a 3-0 win.

Halliday on for Sarcevic, makes a lot of sense with Sarcevic being on a yellow card, adds a bit more height the back and keeps Neufville as a counter attack option.

 

Even Parker’s feed is miles off. He posted at 0450 there’s 8 mins added time . That’s 13 mins after the 1645 real time end of 90 .

That has to be our most impressive performance of the season. There was something different about it. In many of our other notable wins, I’ve had a sense that it might have been a case of a mid table quality side having a good day, being on it physically and forcing mistakes from the opposition and then making the most of fine margins. But this performance had all of that, AND real quality. We looked a really, really good side at this level. Dangerous, scored 3 and could have had more, had to defend well because Cardiff didn’t play badly and still had quality - we just marshalled it well. And whilst a clean sheet would have been nice, we managed the period after they scored extremely well. And then with 8 mins of added time, we never really allowed them to build momentum or emotion at the tail end of the game,

Kudos to all today - a fantastic display from start to finish. Well done lads, hopefully GA allows you a couple of cheeky pints on the bus home!!
