Touray the signing of the season so far. Moved to centre back and nullified the dangerous Joe Taylor.

Go back to the Donny defeat last October and our home form after that is W 16, D2, L1. Thats insane.

Just read on WOAP that there was only 19 seconds of play between the 2nd and 3rd goals.

Love his little changes of direction to wrongfoot the press when he is facing his own goal. Really, really impressive. What I've really been impressed by is the way players seemingly slot into different positions within the system when needed and deputise effectively.

Yeah, it seemed like minutes. I got completely carried away after the 3rd goal and thought we could go on to win by 7 or 8. It may happen at some point this season.

But has he won over you know who?

As an aside I actually prefer Baldwin playing in the middle to on the right. He's our best footballing CB....assuming Touray goes back to wing back

It really showed yesterday. He had a few moments of real composure yesterday when he picked the ball up and his first touch took him into space towards midfield. Really classy stuff!

If Swan had made it 4-0 we may not have been far off. They would have completely given up.

Yep - the highlights for the 3rd goal just showed Hudders kicking off after conceding the 2nd, only to lose the ball to us almost immediately and then left a big gap (again) in their LB area for Neufville to exploit!

He was really unlucky there - really clever (if simple) movement and was a great hit.

Any news on Patto? As he lay motionless, it looked like concussion but if it was, wouldn't he have had to go to hospital? He was still there at the end of the game and if he has to miss Newcastle, he will be gutted.

How much money have we cast aside this season with relative ease? Tens of Millions and look at us.

Our team spirit has to be up there as the best ever alongside 84/85+98/99+99/00

The feeling of complete satisfaction this morning having battered Udders into complete and utter humiliation will live long with me. Seeing them leaving in droves at 75 mins with their tails between their legs was joy to behold.

Oh and a special mention to Baldwin for THAT tackle to stop Taylor scoring in the first half.

Wait until we have our strongest 11 on the field-what can we achieve?

The WOAP article is worth a read as well. https://widthofapost.com/2025/09/13/the-right-to-brag-bradford-city-batter-huddersfield-town/

He’s the same engine as Smallwood but it operates in reverse, a better turning circle and faster. What an astute signing for captain too.

From where I was sat (upper kop) he took the full force of the ball belted at him square in his face-wouldn't be surprised if he has a couple of black eyes this morning. We actually looked and played better when he went off IMHO.

Said that to my brother they came out and showed nothing.
Still i think they will do well if other teams dont press them and let them play ........so in a nutshell they could be in for a average season :)
Think the reason why it ended up at 3-1 was down to our sloppiness rather than there good play.

Reading their forum even after yesterday they retain some confidence in that belief, although suggesting Grant has to pull his finger out on best XI, style of play etc. One or two admired how we can mix it up, whereas they (currently) seemingly can’t do that.

TBF, if they had some proper bite up front/attacking mid we could have been really staring down the barrel after only 15 mins as they knocked it around well and we struggled to deal with it. You could argue if they could marry that with a bit more solidity around the pitch - particularly defence - they should do very well. Seems like Cardiff have that balance at the moment, for example. Next week should be a really good test for us.

However, the 2nd half of the 1st half showed Hudders are really fragile if you get into them & 2nd half seemed to evidence they had very little fight to do something about it. That’s three times already for them away where they’ve conceded 3. No point having the quality of players if, when you put them together, they’ve got no battling instinct.

One was saying their XI individually ‘pisses all over’ ours and it’s this view I’d challenge more because (i) it doesn’t IMO and (ii) doesn’t recognise we are more of a ‘greater than the sum of its parts’ side anyway.

A guy on there said he watches us a fair bit, we fell over the line last season and those players will essentially only get us so far, ignoring completely that our strongest XI now would probably only contain what, 4 of that team?

Anyway, for now those are their problems to solve - and they got a lot of solving to do! Will be interesting to see where both sides are by the time we play them away.

Also I think Baldwin having to come off disrupted us a bit for that last 15-20 mins
