    Why would we not want to sell out the ground? Let's get those fair weather fans purchasing the few remaining tickets so we have a full house roaring the Bantams to victory on Saturday.

    Yes but everyone knows we have a hardcore fan base and those people fortunately are looked after by the club via the points system.

    I preferred it in league two when we were shite, 7,000 hard core loyal fans on a Tuesday night. Easier to park up and the no queue for the toilets or summat

    Exactly - most matches have some floating fans and the bigger games most of those floating fans make the effort.
    It’s normal, I don’t understand why that’s criticised

    Me neither, the more the merrier.
    The only thing that grates is the Glory Hunter mentality, where they attend one game and splash it all over social media as if they are the biggest and best fans out there.
    Because of physical issues, I can sometimes attend, if the meds are working, instead of streaming games. Doesn't make me less of a fan. So I'm a 'floating fan', others will have their own reasons for not being regular attendees.

    The last time that there were more at a match than the current 24,840 official capacity, I reckon would be City v Burnley in the FA Cup - 5th Round, on the 20th February 1960 when the attendance was apparently 26,227.
    Well before my time, but I guess one or two on here might have gone?
    So potentially highest for 65 years and certainly since the ground was totally redeveloped.
    The all time VP record was also against Burnley in 1911, when 39,146 were apparently packed into VP!
    Apparently they all moved to Filey after that match!

    The seats in the upper NW corner are dirty. I mean disgusting, filthy, minging.. more cobwebs than City's trophy cabinet.
    It's no wonder they're the last to go on the ticket site.
    I'm up there again on Saturday but I'm taking wet wipes and paper towels this time.
