Looks like the moron I was referring to online posting racist abuse at Gibson is going to have a knock on the door and won't be entering Valley Parade anytime soon, if at all.

Good to see the club come down swiftly on this kind of behaviour.

CLUB STATEMENT: ONLINE RACIST ABUSE - Bradford City AFC

 

As per the T&A from 2019.

Appearing before magistrates in Bradford, Kyle Kelly, 22, of Festival Avenue, faced three charges of breaching an order on July 18 and September 13 this year, made at Bradford Family Court on November 27 last year. He had been ordered not to contact Chloe O’Neill.

He also faced one charge of using threatening behaviour at a Bradford shop after following his former partner. Kelly, changed his plea to guilty for all charges on the day of the trial on November 6.

Can't for the life of me understand why anybody would want to either;

a) send a footballer completely unbeknown to him a message of abuse (in this case racial)

[or in the sense of the other chap] b) run down the entire touchline, stumbling over himself and others, to shout obscenities at someone just because they play for a different team than their own.

At the end of the day, winning or losing the football match means nothing.

In both these cases, setting an example to your child is immeasurably more significant than trying to pathetically get under the skin of a young chap in their 20s playing football for another club

 

Surely nobody is that thick that they’d post messages on social media using their real name and photo? Are they?
Hypothetically speaking, if someone was determined to send such vile messages, could they setup a new account using someone else’s name and photo?

 

Unless these moron lives in a vacuum he can't be unaware of the punishments being handed out for stupid idiotic stuff online, nevermind racisr insults from an easily identifiable twitter account.

Then again Reform paraded Lucy Connolly on stage this weekend as some kind of hero.

No doubt he will be getting a knock on the door and to be fair he knows where the magistrates is already, and probably has a solicitor who he has seen a few times.
