I like Tilts style for sure and he brings a lot to the table. But he's a red card waiting to happen especially when there's a bit of atmosphere away from home. Might be worth giving him a rest on days like that

 

We had plenty of second half possession but created very few good chances. so much so Doncaster seemed happy to let us have the ball for long periods in that second half.

It looked like on TV that the physio said hamstring a few times back on his mic to the bench. Huddersfield, Cardiff, Newcastle & Blackpool for the rest of Sept, need to iron out these defensive fumbles fairly sharply!

A hamstrung injury is not a good injury for any footballer especially as you get older I agree, unfortunately if it is a hamstring Alexander and his backroom staff could have a problem with regards the back three or would a temporary injury situation make him change our system/formation.

 

I'm all for debate but let's not make stuff up eh.

 

They did exactly the same last season even though we were down to ten men

 

I bet you as soon as Byrne is fully fit he will be in. You can tell by the way he talks he thinks we have missed him

Its the phobia of going top of the league.. had we won we would have gone top.. but just like last season, in games where we had a chance to go top.. the players bottled it, lets hope Cardiff and the other teams above us.. except hudds pick up wins next week otherwise we’ll bottle it again next week..

 

God help us. We can’t be carrying passengers and Byrne struggled in L2, let alone L1. He’s National League/Lower L2 standard, hence why Stockport were ruthless and got rid.

 

We didn't "bottle it"! We played badly-it happens. Individual mistakes cost us and we didn't have enough quality on the day to recover. A poor performance, yes but to say we bottled it is ridiculous imo.

I think GA has said on a few occasions that we play one way, whether home or away. I admire his stance, but even the best managers in the world accept you need to set up to be difficult to break down when away from home. If we sacrifice an attacking player and put one of Metcalf or Patto alongside Leigh and Power, we could then use Patto to spring forward when the opportunity arises. Nick a 1-0 win and stay solid. Continue as we are we’ll be sussed out and struggle for wins at home as well as away.
