The full away end won't make a massive difference as the TL Dallas was full of home fans for Fleetwood. They brought 420 in the away section which olds just under 1200 but then we had an extra 1/2 block for home fans so in that section we will have been which won't be available for this game. Also Block A in the main stand isn't open so loses a few 100 seats plus the front 3 rows of the kop won't be available which will cost another 450 seats.

I think it will be very hard to beat the Fleetwood attendance in a competitive game just because of the layout of the stadium and we are unlikely to open the front 3 rows of the Kop for a competitive game.

A few Town fans on Twitter saying they’ve managed to get tickets in the city end. See how that works out.

    Hate them both tbh....

Getting to Leeds Rd was always 'fun' back in the day.

Last time involvement was at the new (insert any name as you see fit!) stadium for a pre-season game midweek. Me and my mate went on the bus from Queensbury, lovely summer evening. Went into a bar and was told that we were in the wrong bar (we had City polo shirts on). We said Nope, don't think so, got served and walked outside to a look of disdain from the doggy day carer's that were outside. (It wasn't until I read the Ointment book that it had been done over barely 12 months before ). Anyway started talking to doggies and they were relentless about how Gordon Watson deserved it and how he should never have sued Gray or the club!! No remorse whatsoever.

Then walking through car park there was a group of Town fans singing about the fire so me and my mate said that's out of order and then a girl tw**ted me round the side of the head from behind. Anyway fisticuffs ensued with the rest of her boy mates and they soon did one.... the joy!!

Put money on your not a grade A bellend like that lot.

The convos in the pubs with them are that laughable i try not to engage with them.

I bet there 8 of them go in my local and i bet between them they havent done 10 games between them over the last 10 years ...................nothing but a sad bunch really.

Most of my mates are Leeds fans (unfortunately) and nearly all apart from one are pretty sensible. But the Hudds fans i have come across are extremely weird.

Depends how they behave. If hidden in plain sight, fair enough. Make themselves known and create a scene - no sympathy

I certainly wouldn’t begrudge any of our fans going in their home end so long as they behaved

I just don’t understand why anyone would want to go in the opposition sections to remain inconspicuous and tight lipped in an intense local derby. Better off watching on TV.
Massive difference to our fans sneaking into Harrogate.

I went in the home section at Harrogate with @Bigrod@Bigrod because all the away tickets had sold out. It was fine until our added time winner when I couldn’t help but slightly react and got a bit of grief from a few of their fans, but nothing too bad.
Not a cat in hell’s chance that I’d go in the home kennels at the doghouse though. That would be asking for trouble.

Ditto. Family and friends all Leeds fans as well. Now living abroad it’s the first question I’m asked when I say I’m originally from Leeds, “….am I a Leeds fan”.

TBH (tin hat moment) Leeds have never bothered me probably cause my Leeds supporting family and friends were never bothered about us. In fact, quite a few them went/still go to our games.

    Huddersfield are a different story….

Many years ago went in the cowshed on a Sunday lunch time kick off, with mates. Paul Tomlinson gave away an early penalty. Not agreeing with the referee, I'm remonstrated with the referee.

I have to say WYP were efficient in allowing us a safe path out of the cowshed, thank f**k. For the record, we valiantly addressed the issues of the hostile dog botherers.

At Leeds, went in the main stand , I think Gary Speed scored the winner in the league cup and learning from my experience at T'Huddersfield I remained silent and seated throughout the home fans rejoicing the goal, this too drew attention, though the Leeds fans were rather friendly and actually just took the p**s.

It's a tough act being in the home end at certain grounds but certainly not to be discouraged.

Tbf you'd be ok at harrogate, majority giving you stick are a few years into supporting that tinpot club.
Remember going with a mate to watch harrogate at Halifax. Harrogate won and the usual types from fax started on some of the younger lads making their way back to the coach.
Literally two, including myself, got off the coach to help them. Grown harrogate men cowering on the coach, spoke volumes about that clubs fans. Even their main fan Jordan used to support Blackburn home and away until about 10 years back.

A group of us went in the home end at hudders away in 1998/99 - tickets on top tier of their main stand. I seem to remember there being loads of City fans up there. Tickets were so easy to come by then, you just drove along to their ticket office and picked them up. Don’t remember any bother on that occasion

Interesting figures. We've only had 3 games but it might explain this post on the Huddersfield forum discussing pubs in Bradford:-
There'll be 5,000 empty seats in the home ends, all those fictitious tickets they claim they've sold.

Another poster warned about cholera, dysentery and nits.

Oh yes, Salford. Two very similar tinpot grounds. Easy to get them mixed up.
