That's fair enough, I do remember one pass that just went straight into touch, under no pressure in the first half. I just saw him in front of the defence, organising and doing a lot of the dirty work. Maybe the 6/7 performance that helps others to perform at an 8/9.

We don't want to loan any of this squad out.Our high energy game means that they will all be needed. Some on here want Tyreik binned but he is a good player that has a mental block in the penalty area. 2 years ago, he would have put his Peterborough chance away. Special mention to Brad; What a way to make a comeback.

 

Cracking pro is Brad, very much in the Wayne Jacobs mould, he gets knocked down but he gets up again dusts himself down and gets on with it.

 

A special shout out to GA who become the joint quickest in our history to record 50 competitive victories as a manager.

Brilliant stuff since the turn of the new year with his style of football and tactics.

I think he really gets how our fanbase love to see the aggressive high press type of football.

 

Shame it will all come to an end when the goal machine is fit and we're launching high aimless balls up in the air for him .

 

How strange, it's not showing up for me at all.

 

Always wondered why more teams don't go down this route, defend off the front foot and don't allow teams space. Even in the premiership we're now beginning to see teams press from the off, so much more entertaining than sitting back and watching a team pass from one side of the back 3 or 4 to another.

 

In Summary, fantastic effort last night. Swan is proving his worth in gold, very busy and is scoring goals.

Lots of talk about Stoke changing their side but we ourselves had 5 changes last night and we can only attempt to beat what is in front of us. 5 wins and 2 draws so far this season for a promoted club. Fantastic.
