I'd expect them to make a lot of changes, looking at their team from yesterday only 3 players started yesterday and the Walsall game in the first round.
One change we know they'll make is their striker, Divin Mubama, got sent off on Saturday so he won't play. Stoke played the last 30 minutes with 10 men so will have done a lot running.

Looking at the team Robins put out against Walsall in the first round it looks like a mixture a few kids or second string players as yesterdays line up was very different.
Team against Walsall, Bonham, Mears, Phillips, Gibson, Bocat, Lawal, Seko, Manhoef, Donley, Fawunmi, Bozeník

Team against Southampton Johansson, Tchamadeu, Lawal, Wilmot, Cresswell, Seko, Baker, Manhoef, Bae Jun-Ho, Thomas, Mubama.
If we put a decent 11 out we'll give them a game.

Nothing to lose. A one off with no pressure on. Anything could happen.

I can’t see Stoke making a lot of changes. I imagine they’ll be wary of us, especially the high pressing and they’ll no doubt want to make sure they progress (Unless they decide they want to focus on staying at the top of the Championship?)

I think we have to be smart on Tuesday. We have a very decent squad with the ability to rotate and still very much compete.

I’d like to see Halliday and Richards (if fit) start. Neufville especially has started to look leggy and Halliday is not only a very good replacement, he also needs to be kept sharp. I’d also like to see Lapslie start again and expect either Leigh or Metcalfe will partner Power.

If Halliday isn't at the very least on the bench for this one, it does make you wonder if he will still be here after next Tuesday.

Like others have said, this is a free hit.

Doesn't really matter if we lose, would be great if we win.

AFC Wimbledon at home is followed by Donny and Hudders, then it's Blackpool. Some big ties there, gotta say, it's a breath of fresh air to have meaningful marches after years and years in L2 playing nobody of interest.

It's a poor do when Swindon is a big game.

Power needs resting I think. He's not played a huge amount of football in the last couple of years and all of a sudden we're relying on him to play the same minutes that Smallwood did which feels pretty dangerous.

Maybe a Pattison, Metcalfe combo to give those two some minutes?

Is there any free parking around the ground? Train is a no go given how far away from the station the ground is.

    On Football Grounds Guide.
‘There are plenty of unofficial car parks nearby for supporters who don’t have a permit. The vast majority of these can’t be pre-booked, so it’s a case of first-come, first-served’. https://footballgroundguide.com/leagues/england/championship/bet365-stadium-stoke-city.html

    Alternative take.
‘Parking is available in the South stand car park at a cost of £5. Tickets must be purchased in advance from the Bet365 Stadium ticket office. You will need to keep your ticket in view as you enter and throughout the duration of the match. The South car park can be accessed from Trentham Road or from the A50 and the main slip road into the Stadium.
Guarantee a parking space near to the Bet365 Stadium and save £££. Simply book a nearby space or driveway with JustPark.com
    https://www.tothe92.co.uk/groundguide/stoke.html

    Third set of advice.
‘As far as parking is concerned, as the stadium is located on a business park out of town there are quite a lot of spaces near the ground.

Prices are generally no more than £5.00 at most, and will leave you within walking distance of The Britannia.

The guides comment about shuttle buses from the railway station or a 30 minute walk.

Parking at Stoke is rubbish as the ground is surrounded by an industrial estate and a motorway, you might get lucky on one of the streets but it you want free parking you'll most likely have a long walk.
They have 2 car parks that away fans are recommended to park in which are StairBox and DWK Science Laboratories both are about 10-15 minutes walk from the away turnstiles.

Stoke have a list of car parks on their website for anyone looking for one https://www.stokecityfc.com/club/bet365-stadium/directions-parking/

This is the area I hope GA is looking to strengthen in the next few days. I think we need a steely defensive midfielder to add to the squad, and then we are done in my opinion, unless Halliday leaves and then we would need to bring in Hunt or someone else

Fully agree re Power. Will also be good to see now we can manage without him.
