Are these traveling numbers confirmed at all or are people over estimating based on the number of blocks available?

The away end holds 4,800 but that includes the upper tier aswell.

I think the ticket website is showing availability in the block behind the goals only, whereas we started selling from the corner inwards.

By my reckoning thats about 1500-1800 as opposed to over 3000.

I think anywhere around 3,000 and we'd outnumber Blackburn

 

The away end holds 7,000 including the top tier. The bottom tier is over 4,000, of which we’ve sold well over two thirds of- so I think the 3,000 estimate is pretty close to the mark

Another BCFC have sold there 7033 allocation to Blackburn on Saturday

 

So would we if it was our first away game in the championship after promotion.

 

Don't doubt it but nonetheless impressive

No estimates.
Whole stand including upper tier holds over 7000.
We got 4357 (bottom tier)
There's a block of 750 and 300 left.
All other seats were sold.
Blocks have sold from one end and been released in order to what was left today.
Our group is scattered across the whole stand.

 

I didn't realise how naff our record was against Blackburn. Just 1 win in our last 10 against them, that was back in September 1987, our last away win was in March 1921, tonight will be the 10th visit since the last win.

 

Can't be many league sides that we've played less often than them over the last 40 years either.

 

Not many, taking out the usually ever present PL sides.... Derby & Wrexham tie Blackburn at 8 league games since 1985. Yeovil, Wigan, QPR & Burnley have faced us 6 times, Cambridge & Swansea with 4 league games and the fewest is Cardiff, we've only been in the same division as them once in the last 40 years.

 

I picked up a ticket on Sunday night, as I've been away and have just got back so this will be my first game of the season. The tickets i got were from the right of the goal and it was all but sold out bar a few rows when I purchased tickets. We look to have about 3,200 following us tonight which for the first round of the cup is unlikely to be bettered by anyone but a handful of teams anywhere in the country tonight.

Ticket prices don't matter, people will pay to get to games they see as big and if this was a league game we would take more even at an increased price. It has to be looked at in the context of the competition it is in and the stage of the competiton.
