I think it's the other side we might need that pacey option. Touray looks a very disciplined player and defensively pretty solid, whereas because we used that right side a lot and threw Neufville forward, perhaps in behind him might end up being where the space to counter is?

The first one didn't look much of a yellow as he was the one being pinned down yet, as always, the referees just guess and book both men.

He’s injured. He’s keeping the weight off his feet at the moment,

It might be me giving Tilt an over critical assessment, but I've seen him twice and he is strong and not easily pushed of the ball, but the fear will be he's targeted due to technical ability, likely rush of blood and pace. Kelly if he gets and keeps fit will probably start ahead of him. Keep the wind coming and it won't matter.

 

Was it Tilt that made that ridiculous clearance/pass across the field. He just seemed to swing at it without a care in the world.

 

He seems like he only has a 9 iron for a leg. Every tackle, every pass, just force! Tbf the lad is 34, if its worked until this point then fair enough. Maybe with his pace (or lack of) and heavy play, he might be better suited as the central CB? Feels like at some point on the left we might get found out if Touray or Richards bomb forward.

Wycome certainly did? I seem to remember 4 or 5 times there was a drive down the left hand channel where either they beat the jump or there was a gap, them having naff end product is another thing.

I think at home we should be fine, as we defended narrowly on the narrower pitch too, speed merchants wont really have a lot of time/space to pull in anyway at VP. Maybe on the wider pitches we see it more?

 

Fair shout , certainly agree about bigger pitches.

 

Looks like Tilt is this seasons player the fans are gunning for, there's always one.

Personally think he's done fine so far, no complaints from me, yet.
