Annoyingly I haven't been able to get it to work. There are a couple of key fields that I need data from that aren't directly accessible with the new version of the player query and I can't get it to work with any of the supposedly comparable subqueries. It's really annoying.


I do have an additional tool for all of you though

It allows you to enter a player name and it will fetch all the tweets about that player which is a great research tool BUT even better it gets you to link your account and if you click on your profile picture in the right corner and click My Feed it gives you a feed of all the latest tweets about your players




For example here is the first row of mine



You can use the filters which has a list of all your cards (Ordered by most recently tweeted about) and you can also just look for all the tweets about your players at certain clubs or in certain comps. Each Tweet has an image at the top showing the player it mentions (if you hover over it also shows the name) and if you click it takes you to the source tweet, which can be handy as often the tweets won't be in English but on twitter itself there is a translate link which translates it to English.

It's really useful, like this weekend it allowed me to Vault Felix when it suddenly became clear his deal to Benfica was off and he was off to Saudi because at the time his vault value was 20 but the second he joins Saudi it will be 1 or 2 points

 

I've spent my hot streak winnings (well all but 98p) but on something a little unusual. I used the API to list all the players with cards on sale on the secondary market while also pulling the lowest value and how many points they give when sealing them. Then ordered them by price to points ratio and picked up players who if I sealed the card would give me the most points for my spend. This allowed me to jump from Level 2 to Level 3.

Seeing as at the moment 2% gets me 75 extra Essence and it would have been 112 essence if had 3% this game week it seems a nice extra boost that will quickly add up (or pay for me to enter an Arena each week)

Decided to use my essence to test the full reveal



Went for the one I did as it was MLS and Spanish and was hoping for Puig but while its an ok card Its not the best especially as he is a defender when I would have preferred a midfielder. Van Den Bosch is worth the most but doesn't have great L15. Suzuki would have been the best, especially as my in-season Forward options for contender aren't the best so wish I had picked him.

Actually I wish one of the reveals you could get was position, would be very useful and worth the essence spend

 

See my thinking is new cards right now may be worse. Value is part of what decides tier and the new cards have higher value for worse cards. As such getting MLS, South American, K-League or J-League are potentially going to be the better cards performance wise which then allows you to win more cash and essence

Had 2 xp of 500 each, a miss and market credit

 

I tried playing the system by bidding with the intention to be outbid so I got tickets for the wheel spin. I ended up winning 3 cards using up all my credit and winnings lol.

Luckily all 3 are starters and 2 of them will help my contender in-season BUT one of them is in-season Premier League so I now need 3 other in-Season just to put a lineup out there

 

I hate the new crafting. I had one of each of the 3 reveals so I crafted. It wasn't that helpful with 2 J-League players from Japan, 1 Juniper League player from Belgium. Then a Polish player from Juniper League which did allow me to rule that out as there are only 2 and neither were great and an Argentina player in the MLS. I obviously couldn't not go for the Argentina player on the off chance I got Messi (plus there's some really good ones below Messi) but this is what I got and what I could have got



None of them are starters, if these were my best 5 players I wouldn't want to see the other 5
