A lot of discussion on a variety of threads as to how City will do next season.

Time for you to say where you think we will end up.

Use your experience, intuition, raw emotion, the Bookies and/or artificial intelligence.

Nail your colours to the mast as they say, and set out your thoughts.

For those that want pure anonymity, then just vote in the poll.

Nothing to stop you doing both!

I've gone 7th-10th for no other reason than blind optimism.

I've voted 11th to 17th. Think we have enough to avoid being dragged into a relegation battle.

A lot depends on keeping key players fit.

So many clubs spending silly money so with a brilliant season for us really pulling on that momentum from last season I can see us surprising a lot of people a getting to 10th.

Of course it could all go very Bradford City......

I had 10th in my head, but I've picked 11-17 just because it seems more likely. 10th is a very optimistic pick IMO, and reliant on things going great for us - and they've already started a bit iffy with the injuries!

I praised the effort and set up a few days ago, but if putting our bodies on the line constantly means more injuries, it could be a tough season. Our spirit is in the right place, IMO, but that doesn't mean there won't be a few spanners in the works.

Top half would be a very fine job indeed, but as long as we're not in an actual relegation battle, that's acceptable.

12th. A lot depends on whether we can rectify our woeful away form.

Seems like GA plans to set us up to be tough to beat, and hopefully we do well at home again.

i think we can surprise a few people this year, but there are some tough teams at the top.

Luton, Plymouth, Cardiff, the Puppies and Stockport (not in that order) should be up there, then Bolton surely have to fare better.

Barnsley, Blackpool, Reading, Orient, Wycombe, Wigan all others that could be vying for the top half?

bring it on though - that 90+6 goal has piqued Stefan’s interest, the mood has transformed, and we look to have recruited well. Just need that striker now?

    I've gone for 11th-17th.

I think we will find it even harder in L1 to pick up points away from home so we will be reliant again on our home form.

It feels like we've made some solid signings and if we need to build upon that in January then I'm hopeful that SR will give the backing for that.

I'm concerned that our midfield looks light and that a lot depends upon Andy Cook returning and contributing, fingers crossed on that.

But, compared to where we were when there were protests about the running of the club, and even after Notts County last season, it does feel, finally, that the club is moving in the right direction on all fronts.

A season of consolidation for me and keep building the club up.

Gone for 11th -17th, but in all likelihood we will be closer to 17th than 11th.

I still have concerns over the CBs. I think Wright looks like a very good pick up on the pre-season clips, i think Tilt is going to be one of those who is going to be very much under the microscope. He didn't have a lot of Salford fans saying great things about his play when he left, trying to make that step back up to L1 when he turns 34 next week might be a worry as it goes on. I reckon he's going to be one of these with one good game there will be a clamouring of "why doubt a man with that experience" and when he has a shocker the "why did we sign a L2 defender" type comments will be out. Pennington had a good write up for his commitment and attitude but his defensive work was questioned at Blackpool. Barely featured after January for Blackpool, hopefully he can find his feet here. Hopefully the L2 surviving CBs can make the step up too but Kelly seems to just have a knack of picking up little injuries and Byrne will be another where every performance is going to be picked at. Fingers crossed we will find some combo that works, all the CBs are in their prime years or just passing it, they are experienced heads who should be able to see things over.

Only other worry for me is where the goals are going to come from? It's a step up for Kav after being in and out the side in L2 and having a rough spell at times there to find form. Humphrys is a wide man more than a forward but so far it seems GA wants to try him up top. Swan is another who has seemingly had issues with just random little in juries halting his career, and so far in L1 his record is a goal every 349 mins of play which is pretty woeful.

Also gone with the majority of a mid table finish, that would be decent and if I am being honest just staying up would be okay. I can't see us being close to challenging for promotion but would love to be proven wrong

Midtable will do a nice steady no thrills seasons, win a few draw a few lose a few main ain is to get established at this level rather than dropping down to the khazi league.
A lot of teams have had a lot of money down so a fair few will have huge targets on there backs where we can can slip thriugh nice and quite without being everyones cup final

First season would be great to get off to a good start and not having to look over our shoulders

As long as we are well clear of the drop that will do me and we can build from there

19th not enough goals or quality up top. Expecting GA to perform a miracle again on peanuts in league 1 terms.
