Sometimes we get kicked off by school as they’re using it for class

Exactly how many clubs in league one & two actually own their own training ground ?

Under normal circumstances we wouldn't need to use it unfortunately on this occasion apparently the school needed it, I would think a schedule is made available for both school and club to see with regards using the 4 G pitch.

Thank you. Seems more of an issue of bad planning than anything else. I am sure this has been discussed on here before about our access to the facilities etc. Anyway not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things.

 

Easy for you to say. You're not the one that has to deal with the wrath of poor little Tarquin's parents when he doesn't get to do his weekend constitutionals.

 

I don't think the issue is with regards Saturday as we never need it usually, Alexander seems to be quoting something from the past, as I posted surely both partners know when it will be available and for how long.

 

It will have been a simple misunderstanding but of course it won't stop people make a mountain out of a molehill.

 

I believe Ryan has said there were substantial improvements made at Rawdon Meadows, it is a partnership which I believe we rent from Woodhouse Grove ( or to a company set up by Woodhouse Grove) so there is no conflict of interest, from what I'm told they paid for the majority of the improvements with us possibly paying a higher rent for the upgraded facilities,
I'm sure @wetherbywhaler could update us with regards the situation

 

If VP was frozen,dont you think the pitches at the school would also have been unplayable.

 

What im saying is that we ended using a facilty due to a load of frozen pitches which i have no issue with

 

Barrow on a normal day training are 1 hr to 1hr 20 away in Manchester dependant on M6 traffic........... I would love City to have an equivalent Man City training facilities (they have hot water too)..... but we cant.

 

Barrow to Manchester is over 100 miles away. It's far longer than an hour away even if the roads were clear.

 

Common sense always prevails.!

 

I think the “bad planning” was based around wanting the 4G surface on a Saturday. Can’t think for the life in me think why we would agree NOT to using it on a Saturday during the football season.
